A free educational fair for Jackson and Josephine County residents who have diabetes, their family members and caregivers, has been scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Smullin Center at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford.

A free educational fair for Jackson and Josephine County residents who have diabetes, their family members and caregivers, has been scheduled for noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Smullin Center at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford.

"Living Well with Diabetes" will include exhibits, panel discussions with physicians specializing in diabetes, and a presentation on controlling blood sugar by dietitian and diabetes expert Nicole Morgan. Exhibitors will provide vision screening, foot screening and nutrition information. Product representatives will be available to answer questions, as will a pharmacist.

Exhibitors will be available from noon to 1 p.m. and from 2:30 to 3 p.m. The "Ask the Experts" panel discussion will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and the blood sugar program will be from 3 to 4 p.m.

No reservations are required to attend the program. Limited transportation will be available from Grants Pass to the Smullin Center. Call Kim at 472-7120 to confirm transportation arrangements.
