It's voting day for the 1,500 members of the Medford Co-op, who have been called to a members-only meeting tonight to decide the fate of the organization.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria at South Medford High School, 815 S. Oakdale Ave.

The co-op's organizers announced last week that they had exhausted options for opening a Medford co-op and wanted members to attend the meeting to vote on dissolving the organization.

Others say the co-op may not be dead yet and that a group of members wants to keep the organization alive and come up with alternatives for opening a store.
