Buddy Saxon scored 16 points and Dee Wiersma added 15 to lead the Cavemen to a 77-37 victory over Eagle Point at Grants Pass High School.

Grants Pass outscored Eagle Point 26-12 in the second quarter to build a 43-18 lead at the break.

The Cavemen (1-0) hit five 3-pointers to Eagle Point's one.

Rowley had a game-high 19 points for the Eagles (0-1), who received 12 from David Brasel.
