Sybil Jean Logan



Sybil Jean Logan was taken from us on December 9, 2007. She was born in Heppner, Ore., on June 24, 1916. She married Roscoe H. Logan, of Yakima, Wash., on December 24, 1938.



She was the loving mother of two daughters, Janette Logan, of Basalt, Colo., and Susan Pius, of Carmel Valley, Calif; son, Bruce Logan, of Port Townsend, Wash.; and loving cousin, Jack E. Young, of Medford.



Sybil worked at the Crater Lake Lodge and the U.S. Forest Service in Portland. She was a volunteer for many years at the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, Calif. With her husband and his partnership with Wayne Valley and Robert Braddock, she became one of the original owners of the Oakland Raiders Football Team.



She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Young; mother, Gladys Young; and brother, Robert Young.



Sybil is gone from this earth but will remain forever in our hearts. We will always remember how she enriched the lives of everyone she knew. Her gentle and generous ways encouraged and comforted her friends and family.
