Gary Lorren Dodge

Gary Lorren Dodge passed away on the morning of December 21, 2007 at the Medford home of his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Brent Mak.

Born November 4, 1943 to his parents, Gordon and Eugenia (Dodds) Dodge in San Jaun Capistrano, Calif., Gary became a designer and draftsman, a career he enjoyed for 32 years. With his former wife Rolana Dodge, Gary had three children, Christopher Dodge, Deborah (Dodge) Mak and Dennis Dodge. He was an active member of Open Door Fellowship in Roseburg, and later, Bear Creek Church in Medford. He enjoyed reading his Bible, gardening, painting, drawing, acting in local theater, cooking and enjoying time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his two sons, Chris Dodge and Dennis Dodge; his daughter, Debbie Mak; his son-in-law, Brent Mak; his daughter-in-law, Ericka Dodge; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Bayaka, and Hannah.

A memorial service in recognition of Gary's life and deep love for the Lord, will be hosted by Bear Creek Chruch in the gymnasium at St. Mary's School at 112 Black Oak Drive on Wednesday, December 26, at 11:00 a.m. This will be followed by a brief family commemoration at the VA Cemetery in Eagle Point, where Gary's body will be laid to rest with honors.
