Maraschino cherry juice, for rimming glass
Granulated sugar, for rimming glass
2 maraschino cherries
2 brown sugar cubes
2 dashes Angostura bitters
About 5 ounces dry, sparkling wine

Gently roll edge of a Champagne flute in the cherry juice, being careful that juice doesn't drip into interior of glass, then roll edge of flute in the granulated sugar.

Place the cherries and sugar cubes in the bottom of flute. Add the bitters and then fill flute to top with the wine.

Makes 1 serving.
