Roger Cornell Kessler



Roger Cornell Kessler, 58, of Central Point, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2007, at his home.



He was born April 9, 1949, in Scotia, Calif. He attended school in Fortuna until the family moved to the Bay Area. He graduated from Balboa High School, in San Francisco, in 1968. In 1972 he moved to Oregon and was employed at Timber Products for 23 years until decided to start his own landscape business.



He enjoyed restoring cars, riding his motorcycle, gardening and landscaping and spending time with his dogs.



Survivors include his mother, Dona Crouse-Kessler of Medford; two sisters, Sherry McKnight of Moscow, Idaho and Dawna Ternullo of Weed, Calif; two sons, Jason Kessler of San Mateo, Calif., and Nick Kessler of Central Point; one granddaughter of Central Point; his girlfriend, Shelly Debo; and numerous nieces and cousins.



He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Kessler and a brother, Bruce Kessler.



Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Community Bible Church, 500 N. 10th St., Central Point.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
