Donald MacKintosh died Saturday, December 22, 2007, in Bremerton, Wash.
Donald was born in San Diego, Calif., on April 18, 1941, to Luella and Arthur MacKintosh. He lived in Medford most of his life.
After graduating high school in Medford, he enlisted in the Navy for four years and was stationed in San Diego. There he met and married Janis McCuaig and had three children. They divorced in 1978 and he married Ann Ashton and had another daughter, Laurie. He moved to Washington in 1996 with his third wife, Kathy, to be close to two of his daughters, Jennifer and Sandra. He worked in Seattle for many years and then decided to retire in 2005. Although retired, he still needed to stay active so he decided to work part time, at Barney's Quick Stop, where he had many friends.
Donald loved to go camping, play bingo, and travel all around the state. He loved being outdoors and was a sports fanatic.
Donald is survived by his sister, Jane Germer of Medford; his children, Michael MacKintosh of Washington, Jennifer
MacKintosh of Bremerton, Wash., Sandra Hayman of Tahuya, Wash., and Laurie King of Medford; grandchildren, Zachary, Jennifer, Benjimyn, Adam, and Austin. His parents preceded him in death.
