Kirsten Maryl Boldt and John Stark Neurohr, both of Lafayette, Colo., plan to marry June 14, 2008, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Medford.

Boldt is the daughter of Lana McGraw Boldt and Darrell A. Boldt of Ashland.

A 1991 graduate of Ashland High School, she received a bachelor's degree in music in 1995, graduating cum laude from Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y. She received a master's degree in music in 1997 from San Francisco Conservatory of Music in San Francisco, and a Doctor of Musical Arts, ABD, from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo.

She is a musician, bassoonist and instructor. She is an instructor at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. She is employed by the Colorado Springs Symphony and is the operations manager/personnel with the Fort Collins Symphony. She also has a private studio and is self-employed.

Neurohr is the son of John and Patricia Neurohr of Wellsburg, W.Va.

A 1994 graduate of Brooke High School in Wellsburg, W.Va., he received a bachelor's degree in music education in 1999 from West Virginia University in Morgantown, W.Va. He received a master's degree in music in 2001 from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in San Francisco, and a Doctor of Musical Arts, ABD, from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo.

He is a musician, teacher, and performs as a trombonist. He is employed by the Cheyenne Symphony in Wyoming, the San Juan Symphony in New Mexico, the Apollo Chamber Brass in Colorado. He also has a private studio and is self-employed.
