Barbara J. (Bobbye) Tyler



Barbara J. (Bobbye) Tyler passed away on January 20, 2008 at age 80, of cancer in Clackamas, Ore.



Well known in Southern Oregon in the title insurance industry, having learned it from her father at age 12, Barbara worked at Jackson County Title (now Lawyer's Title), Crater Title Insurance (now First American Title and managed Landmark Title (now Key Title) for approximately five years. She also worked at Josephine Co. Title in Grants Pass. Barbara was recognized for the breadth of her knowldege, having examined titles in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Louisiana.



A resident of Medford for 40 years, she and her husband, Pat Tyler, were well known and loved. She enjoyed golf, antique hunting, gambling and baseball.



Barbara is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Radcliff, a pharmacist and member of Medford Senior High School class of 1971.



A small ceremony will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Ave. in Vancouver, Wash., on February 4, 2008. Contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to the Humane Society or Dogs for the Deaf.
