Lawrence "Larry" Harry Redler



The memorial service for Larry Redler will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at Red Rock Cowboy Church, 602 Chevy Way, Medford, OR 97504. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Road, Eagle Point, OR 97524.



Larry Redler, 67, of Medford, Ore., died Wednesday, January 16, 2008, at Ashland Community Hospital.



Larry was born November 5, 1940, in White Plains, N.Y., to Harry and Loretta (Frances) Redler. He graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School. On May 31, 1963, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served until discharged May 29, 1967, while stationed in Klamath Falls, Ore.



Larry owned and operated Redler Metal Company, a large metal recycling business, until 1992. For the past 12 years Larry became very passionate and involved in our community helping to protect people's constitutional rights with the Jackson County Citizens Group. He attended Red Rock Cowboy Church and the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Medford.



He is survived by daughters, Heidi Renee Mickey of Medford, Ore., Diana Marie Redler of Camarillo, Calif., Suzanne Elisa Redler of Albany, Ore. and Heather Annette Redler, Hillsboro, Ore.; son, Timothy Andrew Redler of Medford, Ore.; three grandchildren, Ashley and Tyler Mickey of Medford, Ore. and Michael Redler of Camarillo, Calif.; brothers, Hank, Richard and Bertram; and sister, Donna Redler; six nieces and nephews.
