Peg Waldron, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2008 surrounded by family at Providence Hospital in Medford. She had lived gracefully the past 12 years after a debilitating stroke. Peg was 70.
She was born in Pine, Missouri, to the late Lester and Mildred Ray.
In her early years, Peg grew up in Colorado, making many lifetime friends, later moving to Oregon attending high school in Phoenix. It was there she met and later married Harold "Bud" Waldron.
Peg was a wonderful wife and mother, who never knew a stranger. She loved everyone and treasured her family and many friends.
She also loved reading, history, doing word puzzles, writing her own short stories, bowling and listening to most all types of music. In the 1980s she was a volunteer for the Rogue Valley Medical Center.
Peg's survivors include her husband Bud; her son, Butch; daughters, Becky Waldron, Lisa Waldron, and Julie Wadley; daughter-in-law, Darla; sons-in-law, JR, Donovan, and Terry Wadley; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Browning and husband, Ralph; brother, Les Ray and wife, Charyl; four nieces and one nephew.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, Violet; grandson, Rick Wadley and her beloved dog, Jessie.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Community Bible Church, located on N. 10th Street, in Central Point, Ore. Pastor Pete Slusher will be officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
