Jackson County Republicans get together in Medford tonight for their largest dinner of the year.

Rusty Humphries, a national radio talk show host; U.S. Rep. Greg Walden; Brock Lowrance, associate director of political affairs for the western U.S. to the White House; and local GOP officials are expected to be on hand for the annual Lincoln Day Dinner.

A mixer starts at 6 p.m., with a dinner and auction at 7 p.m., at the Red Lion Inn, 200 N. Riverside Ave. Republicans will name their preference for a Republican candidate for president in a straw poll at the evening's end.

The event is open to everyone; cost is $50 per person.
