The city of Medford is looking for public input today on how it will use Medford's old Carnegie library.

City officials plan an open house from 1 to 6 p.m. in the historic structure at the corner of Main and Oakdale streets downtown, with formal presentations, including slide shows, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

The building has been closed since the county opened a new Medford library on Central Avenue in 2004. A committee has been meeting to decide on whether to renovate and reopen it and who will occupy it.
