More than 100 people who sought land-use changes under Oregon's Measure 37 are expected at a county commissioners meeting in Ashland today.

Commissioners meet at 9:30 a.m. in the theater room at Ashland High School, 201 S. Mountain Ave. The meeting is open to the public.

A group called Citizens for Constitutional Fairness planned to organize a bus to transport people in Medford to the Ashland meeting.

Measure 37 claimants plan to protest a proposed new land-use ordinance that could affect the values of their property. They also object to a decision by commissioners to let them speak on the proposed ordinance at today's meeting.

Commissioners say they will plan a public hearing on the ordinance before they approve it.
