CORVALLIS — Two Oregon State players could be disciplined for trash talking and a cell phone call before Oregon State's 97-59 loss to Washington on Saturday.

Senior forward Marcel Jones and freshman center Sean Carter got into a verbal altercation with Washington players at the end of the Huskies' practice on Friday.

Later, Jones reportedly left a cell phone message for Washington guard Joel Smith, threatening another altercation in the parking lot at the team hotel.

Oregon State interim coach Kevin Mouton said he was considering disciplinary action for Jones and Carter, which could mean reduced playing time when the Beavers visit No. 6-ranked UCLA today.

"I heard a comment that winners talk after games, and losers talk before they lose. That sums it up in a nutshell," Mouton said.

Oregon State (6-19, 0-13 Pacific-10) has lost a school-record 15 straight games.
