Frederic James (Andy) Anderson

Born August 1, 1913 in Hayden, Colo. Passed away

Wednesday, February 20, 2008.

Andy's expertise ranged from working on a dairy farm to

being the owner of Medford Bowling Lanes for more than 30 years.

He will forever be most known for his generosity and the love of the game of bowling. There was nothing that made Andy happier than spending time coaching bowling and

visiting with the countless friends he made throughout his life.

Andy's passing will be a great loss to all who knew him and to those who did not have the privilege to meet him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vanessa and his step-father, Thomas Mull, whom he dearly loved.

He is survived by his life partner of more than 40 years,

Leanor Golden; daughters, Jeannie Golden, Lee Walch, and Scharie Bostrom; sons-in-law, Glen Bostrom and Leo Walch; sons, Marion Golden, Donald Golden and Ray Anderson;

numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

It was Andy's wish that there be no service. He will be laid to rest with his mother and step-father in Salem, Ore. Any

donations should be made to Scharie Bostrom, c/o Andy

Anderson Memorial Fund, at any Umpqua Bank. This fund will benefit the youth bowling program, as Andy would say, "our youth bowlers are our future."
