Carolee Imogene Felger

1920 - 2008



A graveside service will be held for the family and friends of Carolee Imogene Felger on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Scenic Hills Memorial Park in Ashland, Ore. A viewing is being arranged at the Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home, also in Ashland, Ore.



Carolee Imogene Felger was born on October 8, 1920 in Harper, Kans., on a small farm. She met and married her husband, George Ely Felger, during World War II when he flew P-38s for the Air Force, and she worked at an aircraft factory in San Diego, Calif. After the war, George became a pharmacist and the two of them purchased the Ashland Rexall Drug Store in Ashland, Ore., which they operated for over 40 years.



Carolee was a long-term member of the Ashland United Methodist Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.



Carolee was preceded in death by and will rest in peace beside her husband, George Ely Felger, and her daughter, Kathleen Ann Felger.



Survivors include her daughter, Connie L.F. Terwilliger; her grandson and his wife, James Felger Terwilliger and Allison G.W. Terwilliger; and her beloved great-grandchild, 17-month-old, Kathleen Sena Terwilliger. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Emil Martin and Evelyn Martin; her sister-in-law, Janet Dent; her brothers-in-law, Kenny Ludiker and Bill McAdams; Kathleen Sena's maternal grandparents, Allen Russell and Joanne Wakeland; James' father, Don Terwilliger; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends including Rosario Valasco and Josie Taylor. Carolee is additionally survived by her best friend, Tiger the Cat.



The family appreciates the professionalism, compassion and competence of all the ICU nurses, doctors, supervisors, respiratory therapists and other staff at the Ashland Community Hospital.



Memorial remembrances may be made to the Oregon Humane Society and the American Cancer Society.
