ASHLAND — Peace House will host its United for Peace Conference Friday and Saturday in the Rogue River Room of Southern Oregon University's Stevenson Union.

ASHLAND — Peace House will host its United for Peace Conference Friday and Saturday in the Rogue River Room of Southern Oregon University's Stevenson Union.

New Age practitioner and author Jean Houston will give a presentation at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Twenty workshops and three symposiums are scheduled for Saturday, starting at 9:10 a.m. with an American Indian drum circle blessing.

Southern Oregon University President Mary Cullinan will welcome the conference attendees. The keynote address will be delilvered by Russy D. Sumariwalla, president of the United Nations Association of the USA, Southern Oregon chapter.
