Riekeman only allowed one run in the contest when the Raiders couldn't provide much offense.

SOU (4-10, 2-0 CCC) had just one hit in the contest, but capitalized on five Beacon errors.

With runners at second and third in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Raiders' Ricci Coultas hit the ball back to NCC pitcher Darci Byrne, who made a poor throw to first base and two runs scored, giving SOU a 2-0 lead.

Later, Cassie Bishop's home run brought the Beacons within one, but SOU was able to hang on for the win.

In the first game, the Raiders overcame an early deficit and pulled away with Bailey Price's two-run single in the third inning..

OREGON PREVIEW — At Eugene, Danny Cecchini led the way for Southern Oregon by winning the high jump with a mark of 6-71/2 at Hayward Field.

Cecchini's effort was a season best for the returning senior All-American.

In the 400, Antwun Baker took fourth in a time of 50.03, while teammate Kevin Jeffers placed sixth in the 3,000 with a time of 8:32.57. Jeffers was also 13th in the 1,500.

Breanne Cochran took fifth in the discus for the SOU women at 135-2, while Jamie Wells was seventh in the pole vault (10-2)
