Thelma Brown, 94, died on April 13, 2008, at Waterford Assisted Living in Medford, Ore. She was born on January 23, 1914, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Stephen and Angelina Paliferro.
She married Hugh Brown in 1934 in Chicago, Ill. She worked for many years as a bank teller and lived in many locations across the U.S., including Indiana, Texas, and Washington. After living in Salem, Ore., for 30 years, she moved to Medford in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; husband; and her son, George Brown.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janet Brown; granddaughters, Lisa Welt, Megan Marks; and great-granddaughter, Sofia.
A service was held at Siskiyou Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Oregon Humane Society.
