Candidates for contested judicial seats in Jackson County Circuit Court get together tonight in an aptly titled "Judge for Yourself" forum.

It's set from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Smullin Center at Rogue Valley Medical Center, 2825 Barnett Road. It's free and open to the public.

Seven candidates have filed for two open positions on the court. Incumbents Rebecca Orf and Bill Purdy are vacating their seats.

At tonight's forum, sponsored by the Jackson County Council Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and Jackson County S.A.R.T., will discuss their experience and qualifications.
