Rape, sex abuse — Gildardo Flores-Ramirez, 18, of the 300 block of South Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Flores-Ramirez on charges of second-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $2 million bail. Sex abuse — Byron Bud Manuel, 48, of the 300 block of South Ivy Street, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Manuel on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail on $1 million bail. Mistreatment —William Conrad Crawford, 25, of the 1800 block of Grandview Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Crawford on four counts of second-degree child neglect and four counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment. He was lodged in jail on $36,000 bail. Mistreatment —Laurel Rose Crawford, 25, of the 1800 block of Grandview Avenue, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Crawford on four counts of second-degree child neglect and four counts of first-degree criminal mistreatment. She was lodged in jail on $36,000 bail. Forgery — Ginger Dianne Schmitt, 44, of the 600 block of North Bartlett Street, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Schmitt on charges of first-degree forgery, first-degree possession of a forged instrument, second-degree theft and failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail. Drugs — Russell Lee Hammer, 35, of the 9900 block of Mount Ashland Ski Road, Ashland. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Wednesday arrested Hammer on charges of possession of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine near a school, possession of methamphetamine near a school, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana near a school, possession of a tranquilizer, driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving with a suspended license and three counts of failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail on $35,000 bail. Drugs — Luis Raymond Villa, 26, of the 6900 block of Pico Drive, Central Point. A sheriff's deputy Wednesday arrested Villa on charges of possession of synthetic drugs and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail. Drugs — Justin David Griffith, 27, of the 2800 block of Ingalls Drive, White City. Medford police Wednesday arrested Griffith on charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail. Drugs — Karma Fawn Nitowski, 25, of the 500 block of Laurel Street, Eagle Point. Medford police Wednesday arrested Nitowski on charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail. Sex abuse — Gregory Kenneth Prentiss, 25, of the 8200 block of Kimberly Court, White City. An Oregon State Police trooper Wednesday arrested Prentiss on three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was lodged in jail on $3 million bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 700 block of Diamond Street, Medford. Medford police Wednesday took a report in which paint thinner or acid was poured on a vehicle. The damage was estimated at $1,000.
