Frank W. "Bill" Traviss



Frank W. "Bill" Traviss, passed away at his home on Monday April 21, 2008 after a long illness, at the age of 85. He was married to the love of his life, Marilyn (Pat) Fratt for almost 62 years. He graduated from the Coast Guard Academy and served in WWII as a Merchant Marine from 1941-1945.



He was an industrial engineer and restaurant owner. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, camping, fishing and watching football. His wonderful view of life and his sense of humor continued throughout his life and sustained him till the end. He touched many people's lives and he will be greatly missed.



He is survived by his wife, Pat; daughter, Pam Hendrickson and her husband, Nick of Milwaukee, Ore.; three sons, Dick and his wife, Kathy of Medford, Ore., Jim and his wife, Shirley of Roseburg, and Tom of Irvine, Calif.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Roepke of Lake Elsinore, Calif.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Asante Hospice, 2960 Doctors Park, Medford OR, 97501 or Medford Congregational Church.



A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Medford Congegational Church, 1801 East Jackson Street in Medford.
