Marilyn C. Jantzer



Marilyn C. Jantzer, of Central Point, Ore.; a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2008. She was born September 8, 1932, in Oakland, Calif., to Cecil and Hazel Keenan, and moved to Central Point as a child. On October 16, 1948, she married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Jantzer, who preceded her in death in 1985.



Marilyn worked for thirty years at Central Point Elementary School, in the library and as the school secretary. She was active in her church, singing in the choir and volunteering in church activities. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family.



Marilyn is survived by her four daughters, Karyn Lynch, Diane Miller, and Janis Jantzer-Reina, all of Central Point, Marla Kuresa and son-in-law, Suki, of Roseville, Calif.; sister, Betty McCoy and brother-in-law, Jack, of Central Point; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.



A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Medford.
