Leslie Long Pinkham



A Celebration of Life for Leslie Long Pinkham will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at her home in Phoenix, Ore. Family and friends are encouraged to wear purple and other bright colors.



Leslie, 59, of Phoenix passed away on Friday, May 23, 2008 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was at home with her family by her side.



Leslie graduated from Marshfield High in 1967. She majored in Education and graduated from Southern Oregon State College in 1983.



Leslie worked many years as a substitute teacher along with doing interior design for JC Penney's. For the past 10 years she had been managing local day spas.



She is survived by her husband, Rob; daughters, Moriah and Joy; sons-in-law, Jedediah and Skyler; grandchildren, Emerald, Sylvia, Zen and Rubee; father, Jack Long; sisters, Jackie, Annie, Cindi and Genie; brothers, Nick and Chris; 15 nieces and nephews; and a "Ginormous" circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gene Long and sister, Teresa Long.
