"Snoop Dogg's West Fest," featuring Snoop Dogg, Warren G and Tha Dogg Pound, will stop in Central Point on June 17 for a concert at the Lithia Motors Amphitheater in the Jackson County Fairgrounds and Exposition Park.

Presented by JMAX Productions, the hip-hop all-star concert will feature performances by Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound with Daz and Kurupt, Warren G, Mistah F.A.B., Warzone and Westurn Union.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the show starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance or $48 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at www.TicketWeb.com, or at Bad Ass Coffee, Six One Nine, Music Coop, and Treasure Trove.

Snoop Dogg has been a pop culture icon throughout his 16-plus years in the hip-hop business, from music to movies and video games to clothing lines.

Tha Dogg Pound was an integral part of the Death Row Records empire, which cast a tall shadow over rap music in the early to mid-1990s. After the label released "Dogg Food" (1995), Daz and Kurupt' pursued solo careers and occasionally reunited. Warren G's 1994 debut, "Regulate ... G Funk Era," was certified multi-platinum in the U.S., sold more than 10 million units worldwide and earned multiple award nominations.
