Mildred "Millie" Endres



Mildred "Millie" Endres died at her home on Saturday, June 7, 2008. She was 88. Millie was born August 22, 1919, to Joseph Krch and Agnes (Holub) in Pilsen, Kansas.



In November of 1939, she married Richard Endres in Newton, Kansas.



During WWII, while her husband served in the Navy, she worked at Boening Aircraft in Wichita, Kans., and then in the office where her husband was employed.



In 1968, she and her husband moved to Portland, Ore., where they managed a large apartment complex. After her husband of 33 years passed away, she moved to Medford, Ore., to be close to family.



She worked as a bookkeeper for Holiday Inn in Medford, and also as a trouble shooter and setting up new hotels in several states.



She was active in church and loved to read.



She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and two sisters.



She is survived by her sisters, Tillie Bright, of Phoenix, Ore., and Margaret Strain, of Dublin, Calif.; and brother, Robert (Carol), of Redmond, Ore. She had no children.



She was a very special lady to those who knew her and so very dear to her family. She will be deeply missed.
