Neil Wilson Burrill



A short service for Neil will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the gravesite in Siskiyou Memorial Cemetery.



Neil was born March 21, 1932, in La Center, Wash., the son of Simeon and Lucille Burrill. He went to grade school in Woodland, Wash., and moved to Prospect, Ore., in 1948 where he finished high school.



Neil married Nancy Lee Shell in Lakeview, Ore., on September 8, 1951. He has lived in Prospect and the Rogue Valley most of the time since then. He worked at logging, road construction and home and apartment building. He was a member of the sixth ward at The Ashland Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints.



He enjoyed fishing, hunting, RC model airplanes, gardening, and singing karaoke. He volunteered at Medford Senior Center, and enjoyed singing at some local assisted living centers.



Survivors include two sons, Vincent, of Ashland, Ore., and Rodney, of Medford, Ore.; two brothers; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
