Storyteller Dorothy Ormes brings her stories from around the world to Jackson County libraries this week.

She'll be at the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd., at 3 p.m. today and at Medford's Central Library, 209 S. Central, at 6 p.m. It's free.

Ormes will present stories at several libraries as part of the libraries' summer reading program for kids.

After today's performances, she's in Talent at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, in Phoenix at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, in Prospect at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in White City at 2:30 p.m. Thursday and in the Applegate at 2:30 p.m. Friday.
