Learn how to keep the bad stuff out of storm drains during a workshop at Medford's Jefferson Nature Center today.

It's from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the center, which is inside the new U.S. Cellular Community Park off South Pacific Highway. It's free.

Teresa Huntsinger, water-quality program director for the Oregon Environmental Council, will make a presentation on ways homeowners can reduce the pollution and sediment that flows from their properties into storm drains, which here flow into Bear Creek.
