Abigail Carroll, a 2007 Phoenix High School graduate, has been named to the spring 2008 dean's list in the College of Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. Students must complete 14 graded semester units while earning a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.

Linfield College has released its spring semester dean's list. To qualify for the dean's List, students must complete 12 graded credits and be in the top 10 percent of their class. The following Jackson County students qualified for the dean's list.

Katie Kaufman of Medford, a student at Linfield College in McMinnville, has been inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, an international academic honorary society for education students.

Amber Hoke of Gold Hill and Brad J. Kessler of Medford have qualified for the spring term 2008 honor roll at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany. To qualify for the honor roll, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher taking 12 or more graded units which do not include pass/no pass or incomplete credits.

Brittany King of Medford has qualified for the spring 2008 dean's list at Eastern Washington University.

Kerri Brown, daughter of Becky and Keith Brown of Ashland, was listed on the spring 2008 semester dean's list at Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. To qualify for the dean's list, students must earn a 3.5 to 3.784 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale, with a minimum of 12 credit hours completed.

Warren D. Cooper of Medford has qualified for the spring term 2008 president's list at Northwood University in Midland, Mich. To qualify for the president's list, students must earn a 3.85 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.

Maya Rao of Ashland, daughter of Dr. Raja Rao and Patt Rao, was named to the spring 2008 dean's list at Emory College in Atlanta, Ga. Students must be in the top 20 percent of Emory College or have approximately a 3.859 grade-point average or higher to be named to the dean's List.

Lisa Fthenakis of Medford was named to the spring semester 2008 dean's list at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Fthenakis received Second Honors, with a grade-point average of 3.7 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Neal Facciuto of Medford qualified for the spring term 2008 dean's list at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande. To qualify for the dean's list, students must achieve and maintain a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while completing a minimum of 12 hours of graded coursework for the duration of the term.
