Richard Louis Davalos



Richard Louis Davalos, 43, of Phoenix, Ore. passed away on July 20, 2008, at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Ore. A viewing from — to 7 p.m. will be followed by a Rosary on July 29, at Conger Morris. A mass will be on July 30 at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by a reception. Rev. Liam Carey of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will officiate.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Richard Davalos Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.



He was born on February 5, 1965 and raised in San Francisco, Calif. to parents, Louis and Bonnie Davalos. He lived in Phoenix, Ore. for 15 years, and worked as a machinist after graduating high school. He enjoyed listening to music and rooting for his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers. He was also active in the PTA, where he was known as "Mr. Mom."



Richard is survived by his son, Richard Isaac Davalos; his daughter, Angelina Nicole Davalos; his sisters, Monique Valdez and Tracy Davalos; and his brother, Robert Isaac Davalos. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Richard Davalos, and his grandmother, Kathryn Ochoa.



He was a man that turned his life around and dedicated his life to his two children and put their needs before his own. Richard will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Forever in our hearts he will be.
