Participants in a fundraiser for Wildlife Images tonight will have the opportunity to test their crime-solving abilities.

"CSI: A Wildlife Adventure" is set from 6 to 10 p.m. at Club Northwest, 2160 N.W. Vine St., Grants Pass. Tickets are $35 per person.

The evening includes a barbecue dinner party co-hosted by Club Northwest, Home Valley Bank and Wildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center.

The evening is a fundraiser for the Small Mammal Center at Wildlife Images, an animal rehabilitation center.

The highlight of the evening is a CSI-style wildlife crime that the guests will have the opportunity to solve.

Actors from across the Rogue Valley will play the parts of suspects and witnesses. Ken Goddard, author and consultant to the "CSI" television series, and Wildlife Images Executive Director Dave Siddon will oversee the challenge.

The winning team will be allowed to go with Wildlife Images' wildlife experts on a rehabilitated animal release. Also planned is music by the rhythm and blues band Broadway Phil & The Shouters.

Club Northwest also has organized a separate children's event in its KidZone, where the party includes food, games, prizes and visiting Wildlife Images animals. Tickets are $10.

Tickets for the events must be purchased in advance and are available at Wildlife Images, Club Northwest and Home Valley Bank branches or online at www.wildlifeimages.org.
