Lillian Beverly Clark

Lillian "Tootie/Toots", 90, walked into the eternal arms of her loving Savior and beloved husband on August 18, 2008. She passed away unexpecetdly at her home. She was born on November 3, 1917 in Bemidji, Minnesota to James and Etta Foley. She married John Ray Clark on January 29, 1938, in Bemidji. They were married for 57 years before John passed away in 1995. In 1949 they moved to Medford, Ore., where she lived until her death. She was very satisfied to be a stay at home mother and homemaker. Lillian loved to hunt, fish, camp, travel in their trailer, be with her friends, go to church, read her Bible, watch her grandchildren play ball, and be any where her family was. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Medford, Ore., since 1949. Lillian is survived by two daughters, Bev (Russ) Grove, of Portland, Ore., and Nancy (Duke) Anderson, of Central Point, Ore; eight grandchildren, Kim (James) VanderWal, Karri Miller, and Rusty (Becci) Grove, of Portland, Ore.,Tanya Anderson, of Tulare, Calif., Teri (Mike) McCracken, of Virginia Beach, Va., Todd (Suzi) Anderson of Charlotte, N. C., Taysha Anderson of Hillsboro, Ore., and Tallun Anderson of Anchorage, Alaska; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She had two daughters of her heart, her niece, Pat "Miss Priss" Crawford, and Kristine (Tye) Kopta. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and siblings. She had a very cheerful, serene, kind attitude that affected those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. There will be a private celebration of her life. Contributions can be made in her memory to Grace Christian School.
