Jeff Pevar and the Rogue Suspects open for

longtime Doobie Brothers frontman Michael McDonald at 7:30 p.m. at the Britt Festivals grounds. And the weather? Forecasters predict a high of about 90 in Jacksonville today.

Tickets for the concert go for $44-$68, $31 for kids.

The Suspects play a mix of classic rock, blues, funk and jazz and count many Rogue Valley residents as fans.

Five-time Grammy Award-winner McDonald sang lead on such Doobie Brothers' hits as "Takin' It to the Streets," "What a Fool Believes" and "Minute by Minute" before leaving the group for a solo career.
