Irma Maree Hendrix

Irma Maree Hendrix, 81, of Medford, Ore., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held at 9 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at the Hillcrest Chapel, 2201 N. Phoenix Road, Medford, Ore.

She was born on Jan. 5, 1927, to Ernest and Daisy Cloud in Cedarville, Calif. Her family moved to the Rogue Valley in 1949. She was an Executive Secretary for the Oregon Dept. of Revenue for many years until her retirement.

Her family was the passion of her life and her loving heart touched the lives of many people. Irma was devoted to her grandchildren and their many sports and activities. She was an avid bowler, who enjoyed bowling in local leagues. She enjoyed her home, sewing, traveling, gardening, crafts, fishing, and hunting.

She is survived by her three daughters, Janice Smith, of Eagle Point, Ore., Cynda Webb, of Medford, Ore., and Kimmie Steinmetz, of Eugene, Ore.; a stepson, Ed Hendrix (Lynn), of Vancouver, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Annie Hendrix of Miles City, Mont.; nine grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, David, her parents, and her brother.

She will be greatly missed by all those who loved and cherished her.
