A group of Talent parents hoping to form a charter school or expand programs offered at Talent schools meets tonight to talk about plans.

The meeting is at 5:30 p.m. in the community room of the Talent Library, 101 Home St., and it's open to the public.

The group met Tuesday with Teresa Sayre, director of instructional services for Phoenix-Talent schools, and discussed the possibility of opening a charter school or adding electives to schools' offerings.

Meeting organizer Jessica Ruediger presented feedback that she had collected from about 30 parents during the summer, which indicated a desire for more hands-on, experiential learning for math and science.
