Fabulous weather, turning leaves and talk of pumpkins must mean it's time for the annual Jackson County Harvest Fair.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Sunday at the Jackson County Fairgrounds, 1 Peninger Road, Central Point. Get in for $6 or for free if you're 12 or younger.

The festival began two decades ago as a harvest celebration but has expanded to include music, dog and horse events, BMX bicycle events and a chili cook-off. A complete schedule is available http://www.mailtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080926/TEMPO/809260309.
