Kimberly Kay Strain and Derek Howard Reeser were married June 22 at the Riverhouse in Shady Cove. Judge Lorenzo Mejia officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Vinson of Medford, and Don Strain of White City. A 2003 graduate of Phoenix High School, she attended Rogue Community College.

The groom is the son of Gary "Rocky" and Pam Reeser of Medford. He is a 2000 graduate of South Medford High School. He received an associate's degree in business from Rogue Community College in 2007 and attended Southern Oregon University. He is the assistant branch manager at Rogue Federal Credit Union in Central Point.

Matron of honor was Maureen Lautz of Klamath Falls (the mother of the bride's deceased best friend). Bridesmaids were Susie Aguirre of San Rafael, Calif. and Savannah Holmes of White City.

Best man was Pete Pulido of Medford. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Simon Reeser of Roseville, Calif., and Jake Smith of Medford. Usher was the bride's brother, Scott Strain of Phoenix.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds hosted a reception at the Riverhouse.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, they are living in Medford.
