OREGON CITY — Clackamas County authorities say they've arrested a 47-year-old Medford man who was trying to see two girls he'd been communicating with online.

The sheriff's office says Kelly Ray Rasmussen was booked on charges of online sexual corruption of a minor and luring a minor. He was being held on $155,000 bail in the Clackamas County Jail this morning.

Deputies say they believe Rasmussen, president of Jackson Travel in Medford, began communicating online with a 13-year-old girl in July and an 11-year-old girl in September.

They say he was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Clackamas County "while he was poised to meet with his 13-year-old female victim."

Investigators say Rasmussen had traveled to Portland and had taken steps to meet with the 11-year-old on Monday.
