That perennial favorite topic of Shakespeare scholars — who really wrote all those plays — gets another airing during a presentation in Ashland today.

Earl Showerman will talk about "the authorship question" from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, 655 Frances Lane, Ashland. The talk is free and open to the public.

Showerman will distribute copies of the Declaration of Reasonable Doubt, a 2007 document urging study of the question, as well as commentaries by others who have studied it. He also will discuss his research into Shakespeare's ancient Greeck sources.
