In Loving Memory of

Shirley Emma Tappin

Nov. 29, 1936 - Nov. 13, 2008

On the evening of Nov. 13, 2008, we lost one of the greatest people in this world. She wasn't famous or even well known but she made a difference in every life she touched. She made this tough, hard world a better place to live for those of us who had the privilege of knowing her. She changed our lives forever and made us better people for having spent our lives around her. She would give until it hurt and then give some more, except Thursdays when 'Survivor' was on! I would not have any of the skills I have of being a wife, mother and grandmother if it was not for my beautiful mom, Shirley. She was a mother to three boys who have grown to be loving and caring dads, uncles and grandpas. She also leaves behind a son-in-law, whom she loved dearly, one daughter, and two wonderful daughters-in-law. She was a grandmother to 12 beautiful grandchildren, and great-grandmother to four darling great-grandchildren. When she left she took a piece of all of us with her. We love and miss you, our mom and grandma, and will never forget you.
