Amanda Kay Lovin and Zachary David Gerig were married Aug. 2 at the Jesse Settlemeir House in Woodburn. Pastor Jim Wright of Mountain Christian Fellowship in Medford officiated.

Amanda Kay Lovin and Zachary David Gerig were married Aug. 2 at the Jesse Settlemeir House in Woodburn. Pastor Jim Wright of Mountain Christian Fellowship in Medford officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Randall and Julie Lovin of Tualatin. A 2004 graduate of Tualatin High School, she received a bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis on vocal performance in 2008 from Oregon State University in Corvallis.

The groom is the son of John and Joan Gerig of Medford. A 2003 graduate of Cascade Christian High School in Jacksonville, he has spent three years at Oregon State University and three years at the University of Washington. He is pursuing a degree in doctor of pharmacy and plans to graduate in 2009.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Natalie Holbrook of Moscow, Idaho. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Alexandra Lovin of Tualatin, and Julie Cherry and Janell Hunter, both of Tualatin.

Best man was the groom's brother, Tobias Gerig of Medford. Groomsmen were Jake Purvis of Seattle and Tim Aylward of Portland. Ushers were Justin Eckley and Adam Rothrock, both of Portland.

Flower girls were Sydney and Kendall Chrisopulos.

Ring bearer was the bride's brother, Blake Lovin.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted an outdoor reception at the Jesse Settlemeir House.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the newlyweds are living in Seattle.
