A local pianist performs a concert this afternoon at a Medford church.

Eda Jameson, who has performed throughout the United States, England, Europe, Australia, Mexico and Chile, plays at 3 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2000 Oakwood Drive, Medford. Admission is free, although Jameson will accept donations for the church building fund.

The concert will feature "Sonata in G Major," K283, by Mozart; "Sonata No. 13," by Beethoven; "Danzas argentinas," by Ginastera; and "Nocturne, Op. 27, No. 2," and "Fantaisie, Op. 49," by Chopin.

Jameson began her study of piano at the age of 5 and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in music and composition. She was a member of the faculty at Yuba College in Northern California and is a member of several academic and musical fraternal organizations.
