Assault — Leah Kristine Shepherd, 19, of the 1800 block of West Eighth Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Shepherd on charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where she was being held Monday on more than $1 million bail. Assault — Sean Allen Widmann, 18, of the 5000 block of Coleman Creek Road, Medford. Talent police Monday arrested Widmann on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday on $8,000 bail. Theft — Shari Jo Galardi, 68, of the 2300 block of Ashland Street, Ashland. Ashland police Monday arrested Galardi on charges of first-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where she was being held Monday on $12,000 bail. Identity theft — Lance Silke Palmer, 43, of the 200 block of Northridge Terrace, Medford. Medford police Monday added charges of identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and furnishing false information in a criminal case to Palmer, who remained lodged Monday at the Jackson County Jail without bail. Fugitive — Jay Cee Habegar, 38, no address available. Central Point police late Sunday arrested Habegar on being a parole fugitive in California as well as for failing to register as a sex offender, furnishing false information to police and for failing to appear on a charge of furnishing false information to police. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday without bail. Assault — John Luis Clark II, 34, of the 900 block of Southwest J Street, Grants Pass. Medford police Monday arrested Clark on an out-of-county warrant charging him with two counts of assaulting a police officer. He was lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where he was being held Monday without bail.

Crime reports

Burglary — 200 block of DeBarr Ave., Medford. Medford police took a report at 3:36 p.m. of a break-in at a residence from which four guns were stolen. The loss was valued at $1,050.
