SOJ will perform at 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 20-21, at Habañeros, 142 N. Front St., Medford.

Some of the members of SOJ — saxophonist Duke Davis, guitarist Joe Ginet, bassist Ryan Redding and keyboard player Eric Vestnys — began playing music together while attending high schools in the Rogue Valley. The four were later joined by guitarist and trumpet player Mikey Stevens to form SOJ.

The band took a break from playing local gigs for awhile to perform in other markets, but they're back on the Rogue Valley music scene spreading positive energy through music.

The band also is making plans with other local musicians to put together music festivals at Rogue Valley community centers and parks. There is no cover for the show at Habañeros. Call 482-6113.
