Henley completed its conference season with an 8-4 record and is a half game ahead of the Pirates (17-7, 7-4 Skyline).

Phoenix closes the regular season Tuesday at unbeaten league champion Hidden Valley.

Chelsea Passante scored 18 for the Pirates and made four of their 11 3-pointers. Kelsey George added 16 points and six assists.

Taylor Wallace had 23 points for Henley.

GOLD BEACH 58, CASCADE CHRISTIAN 35 — At Gold Beach, second-seeded Gold Beach received 19 points form Kourtney Moore and 16 from Katherine Zuber to defeat Cascade Christian, the third seed, in the Sunset League playoff opener.

Cascade Christian (14-10, 9-6 Sunset) was led by Kierstin Barlow and Lindsey Blodgett, who had nine points apiece.

The Challengers play Bandon on Monday with the winner earning a Class 3A state playoff berth.
