Randol raised his goal total to 33 and also had three assists for the Comets (7-5-2, 23 points), who moved past idle South Medford into third place. Nine Crater players had points in the game.

Crawford scored on a pair of rebounds and a wicked slap shot from the blue line to become the fourth player in the league to score 20 goals this season.

Paulsen, a 14-year-old freshman, became the first goalie in the league this season to record back-to-back shutouts, both coming against Klamath Falls. Crawford had also recorded a shutout for the Comets on Feb.7 against North Medford, stretching the team's streak to 137 minutes without allowing a goal.

Klamath Falls (0-13-0, 0 points) had a 25-24 advantage in shots but failed to score on four power plays and was blanked for the third straight game and fourth time this season.
