The bride is the daughter of Kathleen and Timothy Rancourt of Southbury, Ct. A 1996 graduate of Pomperaug High School in Southbury, Ct., she received a bachelor's degree in anthropology and French in 2000 from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. She received a master's degree in urban planning in 2008 from New York University in New York City. She is the program development officer for UMCOR Indonesia in Medan, Indonesia.

The groom is the son of Sheryl and Edward Chamberlin of Talent. A 1993 graduate of Chaminade College Preparatory, he received a bachelor's degree in acting in 1997 from New York University in New York City. He is a doctoral student in psychology.

Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Kimberly Rancourt of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Best man was Jonas Abry. Ushers were the bride's brothers, J. Robert and Richard Rancourt, and the bride's future brother-in-law, Lucas Andreson.

Following the ceremony, the parents of the newlyweds hosted a reception at reBar in Brooklyn.

After a wedding trip to Lancaster, Pa., the newlyweds are living in Medan, Indonesia.
